ABOUT US
Founded March 1st, 1995 by John W. Payne (a career salesman) and J. Neil Martin, (a CPA), the two had worked together for ten years at an industrial and mining supply company, Payne as Vice President of Sales, and Martin as Vice President of Administration.
The two having developed a unique working relationship and friendship, recognized an opportunity when the supply company was sold in late 1994. They began working on a partnership and then met with John Michael Paz, Owner of Godwin Pumps of America, and secured distribution rights for the Godwin Pump line in the Midwest. Thus, Hearland Pump Rental & Sales, Inc. was born.
